Great video. Golf – I believe they have 3 courses – but the numero uno is ‘Teeth of the Dog’ a Pete Dye (famous course architect) course with seven holes along the ocean. Played it 30 years ago. Casa de Campo has really grown since then. Must see Santo Domingo and the church where supposedly Christopher Columbus is buried!

Sorry for the late reply but in my package we had one game of trapshooting and we had an excursion to the Catalina Island but that does not come with the all inclusive it was just part of my package. The all inclusive is mainly just food and drinks

@Ashel Troncoso thank you so much for breaking it down like that and taking the time to respond. We’re planning a trip for next in April so the kids can see the our country and enjoy the beautiful island. I stood at Melia and when I saw your review I remember having the same bad experience with food. I got lucky the chef at night became my friend and I would tip him and he would make nice Dominican dishes while everyone was eating the late night buffet. Beautiful resort but the food needs help. I’m looking at hard rock as well. Love the channel and you have a subscriber for life. Safe travels to you and yours

I hear you on that! They have a bunch of local spots about 10 mins driving from the entrance of there, but their food is very very good so I know you will enjoy it. It was one of my favorite things about the resort just about everything you eat is delicious!

@Rotvic17 I would only recommend it if the all inclusive package doesn’t charge you for kids or charges very little. The food is delicious honestly it holds the title for best food at a resort when it comes to me but I did see how much it would cost me if I did not have the all inclusive and for Alicia and I dinner was always around $280.

(Even when you have the all inclusive they give you the receipt that you have to sign)

As delicious as that food was I would not pay $280 for it so if I was not on the all inclusive I would not eat there to be honest. So unless the kids are free or close to it I probably would not recommend that because you would spend so much money it would not even be funny.

If I remember correctly the morning breakfast was like $80 lunch was about $160 so if we were paying for all of that not on the all inclusive our vacation would’ve easily been +/- $1600 for five days of food just for two of us not including the hotel stay.
