What your daughters are experiencing and the family time spent is invaluable. I’ve traveled with my 2 daughters to Europe since they were 6 month and every year. To this day they still love traveling with us at 22 and 19yrs of age. Thanks for sharing.

One suggestion from me, you guys should name the exact location and place of the property you are posting on YouTube and also how much price you are paying for how many nights/days, I think ppl would be more than happy to know. 🙂

In these videos there’s always a couple of frustrated portuguese people (or more often foreigners pretending to be portuguese, who came to the country expecting to be given everything without working for it), like that Parrot Boss. “more than 50% of people earn only 500eur per month” considering that legal minimum wage is 635 euros (paid 14 times a year, which is 741 euros paid 12 times, the average wage is obviously higher), what you said is a complete lie, and any portuguese person would know that. This really makes me question your hidden agenda here… You’re the kind of person who has done nothing positive with their life and assumes everyone is like you. Yes, Portugal is not the best in western Europe when it comes to wages (good to start a business though), but plenty of people who were born here have very comfortable lives and achieve FIRE (I have last year). According to a study done by Credit Suisse (check the Global Wealth Report – 2019), there are 117000 people with a net worth of over a million dollars, in a country of 10 million, not terribly bad. So you need to get out more and talk to people outside of your ghetto, Parrot…
@Brazuca Real is it hard to find a good career in Portugal? I’ve always wanted to study or live abroad but switching careers and college and going back again at the age of now 31, is why I’m still here LOL.
@Parrot Boss so citizens hardly make a living? I did know it’s very touristy. I thought it was one of the best places to retire In the world? Yeah, this couple is American and made very good $$ in the states. I’ve heard from people that experience socialism it’s good and bad, depends on the person’s view of it. However most agree it’s not a perfect system.
im from portugal, lisbon is turist heavy and really expensive. algarve is dead all the year unless its summer. we also live under socialism with big corruption like brasil and more than 50% of people earn only 500eur per month. not that great like this videos show. like this house, i am almost 99% sure that only people from rich countries like UK, Germany rent it. and most of the time even the house its not from a portuguese citizen

The Algarve is my favorite part of Portugal! I remember having to take the back roads from Lisbon simply because the toll roads were so crazy expensive! When my wife and I reach FIRE we are going to do exactly what you and your family are doing but likely in Southern Germany!!
