WE BUILT OUR DREAM BALI VILLA – HOUSE TOUR

Contact us to Add Your Villas

Back in summer 2018 we decided to take a leap and buy our first house. The problem was we couldn’t find one that felt right for us, so instead we made a spontaneous decision to build our dream home from scratch!

A year and a half later; here we are living in our dream home on the beautiful island of Bali!

If you have any questions related to our house/ building or buying in Bali, ask below in the comments and we’ll answer them all in a video on Lauren’s channel

as an Indonesian, i’m worried about how the local culture will shift due to incoming foreigners pursuing their privileges. as a human, I’m pleased with the aesthetic of the house and the kind of life they are going

It’s so insane to see this rich people meanwhile the locals are struggling sometimes to survive. I agree to help the infrastructure and the people there but not like this in a selfish way. Why do people need 1000 square meters to live?

I am 100% aggree as I know that the law in Indonesia are not allow foreigners to own land or house there. And they presenta this video act as they are pure the owner of this luxury property in the middle of rice land. Its really sad to see this video, while their life its not suitable with the local peoples, as I am living in oversies country so I know well how their life style are not suitable living there, as a tourist maybe fine, but to leave there with their life style, its malkes us sad if the government not take it seriously before its too late and will be lost of their own land of BALI.

I think it already has.. I remember going to Bali 20 years ago and it was very low key, but now its full of beach cubs, villas etc.
Thats just how it is, until the next hot spot arrives

@Omar Nasir Thank you.for your think and.opinion aa we have same value here. They can come as a Tourist but to live there its just not suitable with local peoples live style in culture and the way their runing their life its not auitable. They cant even built home like this in their own country coz its way too expensive for them.honestly. They think because of they have dollar so they know they can live like a king and queen here while they cannot live like this even in their own country. Hope the government can be more wise and smart in runing every decision before all its too late.

peachy mochy I kinda understand it now that you have explained it. But it still isn’t the fault of foreigners , it means there are deep problems with how your politicians are running the country and enforcing law. If they so wanted to, none of the tourists could build the house.

I born in Bali. And my grandpa house is in Bali as well. Under Indonesian law, they do not owning the property, unless they married to Indonesian or becoming Indonesian citizen. It means that property is Under other Indonesian name. Hope that they meets the right person, if not, a lot of cases they lost in Indonesian court.

Oxford Performance Centre Damn. Wow. That insightful and incredibly actual answer is exactly what I was looking for in the comments 🤯🙏🏼 That’s incredible. So $400 a month over 30 Years, that’s definitely not bad at all. Is that $600K towards the house/property alone or is that also towards furnishings as well? If you don’t mind me asking 🙏🏼
