@Raghav Bansal the field I want to get into requires me to have a PhD in the field just to work under someone so… to the books I go

School isn’t everything but it’s definitely part of getting there

That’s not the correct mindset, no offense. You shouldn’t focus only on grades; you also need to focus on things such as knowledge, especially in the jobs that you wanna pick when you grow up.

@Investainment –  @BorneGaming  No, a doctorate degree would help. I know a couple who are plastic surgeons and subspecialize in aesthetics. They have a net worth of well over $25,000,000.

God people are so negative with “you’ll never get close to Beverly hills with that mindset” i beg to differ, with that kind of determination you’ll go far but i hate to say it but college kinda does prepare you to be an employee. But, good grades will help u a lot along the way. I’d say have an innovative and business like mindset instead.

@Hazelnut dO yOu hAVe aNy pRoOF hEs rEal. there’s no proof that our senses are real as well. we just feel them. in the same way, God’s believers feel his existence. atheists, obviously, don’t. it isn’t really necessary for y’all atheists to shove that same ol excuse “god isn’t real cuz there’s no proof” up every one’s asses every chance y’all get when y’all KNOW there are people who believe otherwise. respect other people’s beliefs.

@Playmobil City Could be they’ve taken jobs on the lower end of the pay scales–house electricians aren’t going to get the same wages as those who run the systems at factories and refineries, and even with a doctorate in education, it can be difficult to get a good-paying job if one doesn’t luck out with an administration or college position.

asphodelale yes I totally agree as that’s what I’m doing. I got a trade and now I’m in college because I’m studying medical school but even then work a lot that way when they time comes I’ll be already set on retirement, emergency savings and have enough to buy a house etc
